Heritage
started in the oilfield business working over drilling rigs, mud
pumps, pumping units and injection pumps. We manufactured
gears for O.E.M.'s
- National Supply, Bethlehem Supply & Oilwell which included
herringbone, helical and spur gears up to 84" diameter and 1-1/2
Diametrical pitch. In 1986, the oil business collapsed and
we started doing business with steel companies - Northwestern
Steel & Wire, IPSCO Steel, Bethlehem Steel, U.S. Steel and A.K.
Steel. In 1998, we built (4) utility cars for Indiana
Harbor Coke Company for Raytheon Engineers & Constructors at
East Chicago (1
